  Aleta and Tanner at the National

4-17-08  We were so proud to watch “Tanner” win the Open Sable Class at the 2008 ASSA National.  At just two years old, this was quite an honor and a memory we’ll always cherish.  Thank you Judge Jane Howard for this win and thanks also to Aleta Canady for handling Tanner so beautifully.   You made our boy shine!

  Cruiser at the National

It was also exciting to watch Coastal Wyndsong’s Continental Cruiser place 2nd in the Open Sable Class.  Congratulations to his owner, Deborah Luper.  Cruiser is a BISS Ch Jade Mist Coastal Cruiser son, and only needs a 3 Point Major to finish his Championship title.

Cruiser, owned by Deborah Luper, is pictured above placing 2nd in the Open Sable class at the ‘08 ASSA National, owner-handled.   Cruiser is a repeat of our own Ch Coastal Beach Bunny.

Coastal Second Chance (A/C Ch SeaHaven Squeeze Play x Coastal’s Champagne Kisses, pts) placed fourth in her 12-18 Month Class, handled by Karen Munster.  “Tabby” is proudly owned, trained and loved by Kathy Rutter.

   Spring and Aleta at the ‘08 National…what a gorgeous team to watch!!

  Another photo of Spring at the 2008 ASSA National.  All I have to say is, “She’s a pleasing eye full”.  Spring is by Am/Can Ch Jade Mist Memorandum ROM, ROMC x Coastal’s A Shore Thing.  Although Coastal’s Spring Fling did not place in Colorado, she had more ringside admirers than we could have imagined.  Thanks for all of the many, many compliments!  She was beautifully presented by Aleta Canady, and loved by everyone that saw her.

BPISS Ch Coastal Wintercreek Mas Tequila made us very proud at the 2008 ASSA National!!  He was handled by Julie Desy to three cuts in the Best Of Breed competition!!  What a beautiful dog to watch…He’s easy to love!!    Buzz is owned by Jim & Debby Gayton of Oregon.

 

Tammy snapped this cute photo of Tanner after the Winners class at the 2008 ASSA National…we just had to share!!  Tanner is stamping his sweet expression on his kids!!!

5-11-08   BISS Ch Coastal Wintercreek Storm Warning wins Best of Breed under judge Robert Stein (handled by Pam Korcek of Ivanlee Shelties).  Flash then goes on to capture Group 1 under judge Francine Schwartz!!  The win photo of Flash & Pam is pictured below.  We could not be more proud of this amazing team!!

5-23-08  Tanner goes WD for another point at the Langley Kennel Club dog show (Hampton, Va) under Judge Debra Gschwender.  Tanner was once again expertly handled by Aleta Canady.  This gives Tanner 14 points…one point to go!!  WooHoo!!

5-26-08 Tanner goes WD under judge Lydia Coleman Hutchinson to finish!!!  It’s now Champion Coastal Wintercreek Island Tan!!  WooHoo!!!  Huge hugs to Aleta Canady for finishing our boy!!  You guys make a gorgeous team!!  Congratulations also goes out to his co-breeder, Debby Gayton!!  (Tanner’s New Champion photo is pictured above.  Even though he had moved a back leg, we just had to share our special moment).

6-6-08 We are proud to announce that it’s now CHAMPION Coastal Wyndsong’s Continental Cruiser!!!  Cruiser finished with a 4 Point Specialty Major.  Huge congratulations to his owner, Deborah Luper.  Cruiser is sired by BISS Ch Jade Mist Coastal Cruiser, and is the 3rd Champion for his Dam, Wistwin Rosy Red!  We’ll post the New Champion photograph when we receive it from Deborah!!
