Coastal’s Second Chance “Tabby”

 Tabby places 3rd in the Am-Bred class, handled by Aleta Canady, at the 2009 ASSA National!!  She was breath taking to watch!!

Tabby was WB in Greentown, IN on 5-16-09 for her first points!!  She’s on her way!!

Coastal’s Indian Summer  “Dakota”

Words cannot describe how excited we are about Dakota, pictured above at 10 months old!!  His co-owner, Deb Jones, has done a wonderful job with him & we all look forward to his exciting future.    Just look at that dreamy face!!!!

 

 

Coastal’s Anatomy Of Dreams  “Izzie”“Izzie” is shown above with her owner, Jacki Moran.  We are very excited about this young ladies future!  .

Coastal’s Whispering Winds, 9 pts  “Whisper” is pictured above at about two years old.  This flashy girl is sired by Ch Jade Mist New Sun Rising ROM x Coastal Carolina Sunrise (pts).  Whisper was co-bred by Coastal & Whisperwind.  Watch for this cutie with Aleta Canady!  And, watch for Whisper’s  daughter this Fall…Nikki is an “eye full”.

Coastal’s Irish Cream “Bailey” (shown above) is lovingly owned by Sherryl Schroeder in Florida.  Bailey is now pointed, owner-handled !!    Click on photo to enlarge, as this was a very special day.  Bailey & Sherryl went BB from the classes, then went on to make the cut in the Group ring (basically 5th place), and this was their first time in the Group ring.  Follow Your Dreams indeed!!!

 

BPISS Whisperwind Coastal’s Shared Dreams “Nikki” (Major Pointed)

(Am/Can Ch Grandgables Ravenscourt Joker x Coastal’s Whispering Winds, 9  pts)

Nikki is shown above at 10 months old.  She was co-bred by Whisperwind and Coastal.  She has a wonderful pedigree, including being five times Ch Jade Mist Beyond Tradition ROM.  We look forward to watching this young lady mature.  She’s so much prettier in person!!

FLASH:   Nikki wins Runner Up in Futurity at the 2009 ASSA National.  She also wins her huge 9-12 class on Wednesday handled by Tray Pittman.  Nikki had lots of fun & collected “fans” all week!!  What a great memory we will always cherish!!

Barbara Aulbach, Futurity Judge for the 2009 ASSA National, comments on Nikki:  “My Runner-Up in Futurity was a very feminine sable bitch, Whisperwind Coastal Shared Dreams, who also filled my eye.  She has correct parallel head planes, no depth of skull, correctly placed stop, high set ears and a sweet melting expression.  She moves easily and freely coming and going and her side movement has excellent extension.  She is truly a treasure.  On that day both girls had something extra that said “pick me”.

 

BPISS Coastal’s Cruisin’ Down South ”Dixie” is shown above.  Her sire is Am/Int’l Ch Coastal Wintercreek Island Tan x Coastal’s Spring Fling.  Dixie is looking forward to a very exciting life with her  owner Janita Jaster in Texas.  Her future plans include Agility, Obedience, Rally, Herding and conformation titles, as she’ll train for Best All Around Sheltie as well.  Dixie shares her sire’s zest for life and her Mom’s gentle nature, so Janita is already wrapped around Dixie’s little paw!!!   Dixie is already pointed from the puppy classes, with several BPISS wins and two Specialty Major Reserves!!

Flash:  “Dixie” wins the HUGE, quality packed Am-Bred class at the 2010 ASSA National, handled by Aleta Canady.  WooHoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Coastal Keeara Euphoria NA, NAJ  “Bliss” is shown above at eight months old taking her first points (WB, BOW), handled by owner, Kathy McKee!!  She is sired by Am/Int’l Ch Coastal Wintercreek Island Tan x Ch Coastal Beach Bunny.

 

 

 

Wintercreek Arenray’s Heartsong “Mattie”

The young bitch shown above was co-bred by Coastal and Wintercreek, and lovingly owned by Karen Coombs of Arenray Shelties.  Watch for this cutie at local Specialties!!  she has already taken a Specialty Major Reserve under respected breeder/judge Joe Molloy,  a four Point Specialty Major under Gayle Eades and another four Point Specialty Major under Chris Lynch.  Her sire is BISS Ch Coastal Wintercreek Storm Warning.  Winning runs in her genes!!

Do not adjust your screen….you are not experiencing technical difficulties.  Riser is NOT sable.  Yes, we have an AOAC at Coastal, thanks to the generosity of Tray Pittman.   Riser is all we wanted & more!!   We love his “look”,  and we love his personality!!   He is Tammy’s “heart dog”.

“Chase” is shown above at ten weeks old (Co-bred by Coastal & Whisperwind).  He is Sired by Am/Can Ch Jade Mist Memorandum ROM, ROMC x Ch Coastal’s Salt Water Taffy.  ”Chase”  lives with Darlene Hayes of Illinois, and we look forward to many shared dreams and happy memories!  With his outgoing personality and sweet face, we feel this new team will be very successful!

This gorgeous young man (Coastal’s Dream Seeker) , pictured at 6 1/2 months old,  will be staying at Coastal.  He is sired by Ch Trevanne’s Roddick x Coastal’s Endless Summer.  We look forward to his future with hope & dreams!!  “Quest” was co-bred by Coastal & Whisperwind, and is Futurity nominated for 2011.

Whisperwind’s Glamour Girl, co-bred by Whisperwind & Coastal, is now proudly owned by Pat Sells (Amen Shelties S.C.).  This cutie is a litter sister to her brother “Quest”, shown above.   A litter of this quality is a  breeders dream come true!  Watch for these two in 2011!
